Descrição da vagaFluent oral and written English Evidence of apprenticeship or significant equivalent experience Extensive relevant work experience in machine shops Proficient in Microsoft systems and packages Permit to work systems and process understanding Demonstrable and detailed working evidence of CMMS system administration such as SAP Experience in manufacturing of wide range of components including complex technical geometry and precision tolerances. Experience of job costing and working to delivery dates Must be able to program / set and operate CNC lathes and mills Demonstrable evidence of use, understanding and interpretation of technical machining drawings, symbols, and components. The role?
The Senior Tool Machinist (Angolan National) will be responsible for overseeing and managing machining activities, ensuring precision and quality standards are met on various components. This role requires advanced knowledge and expertise in machining operations and solid leadership skills.
Main Responsibilities :
- Responsible for the safe and efficient management of the machine shop
- Ensure committed delivery dates are met
- Ensure sufficient information is provided to machinists to enable progress of jobs
- Ensure relevant safety and quality standards are met and continually reviewed for improvement
- Provide quoted of component manufacturing costs where required
- Work in line with company objectives
- Ensure high standard of workmanship and quality from m / c shop
- Ensure all tooling is specified to achieve quality and cost effective product
- Ensure machinery is maintained to the appropriate standard .
