Position Overview
EnerMech is seeking an Expat Mechanical Maintenance Planner to join our team and play a vital role in preparing the Service discipline maintenance planning and scheduling for Plant Maintenance and Services Activities according to FIRM / ERIP processes / procedures, interfaces with Operations, Technical, HES and Supply Chain, taking into account company policies, procedures; national and international regulations are followed, to ensure all the activities on the plant are delivered in safe and reliable manner
Key Responsibilities
- Screens each work request for necessity, clarity of intent, completeness, equipment number, account number, equipment availability, and signature authority; seeks clarification of the work intent when needed; adds additional information as necessary; and returns work requests requiring a high level of authorization to the Mechanical / Elec maintenance coordinator.
- Responsible to verify that all Mechanical work orders have all necessary information before closing and follow up on any discrepancies
- Interface with Operations and Maintenance Teams to determine job priorities and resource allocation for the Mechanical disciplines.
- Reviews the work request priority and completion date to ensure they are realistic and negotiates relief if the priority and completion date are unattainable within current conditions.
- Develop 7 Day, 30 Day, Year rolling work schedule according to requirements, making adjustments as necessary
- Goes to the job site to access the scope of work; determines the Mechanical / Elec crafts, material, tools, and special equipment needed to complete the job; and stays current on all unplanned work orders.
- Preparing a sequence of craft tasks to execute the job and estimating the labour needed by craft for each task.
- Preparing a list of specialized equipment needed to complete the job and arranging for its availability when the job is expected to be done.
- Verify the craft and materials estimates are in the Computer Maintenance Management system work order record.
- Support on the on any software integration implementation with SAP PM, which includes developing, checking data, installing, testing maintenance planning aspects of Angola LNG.
- Assesses impact of data changes to maintenance programs and processes.
- Establishes interfaces and collaborates with PM system users,
- Element owner of the planning processes within the FIRM process.
- Support the development of Maintenance Plans for Angola LNG
- Interfaces with Maintenance Team, and other Operations Departments to measure maintenance progress against plan.
- Uses planning / scheduling tools to integrate data and information across the maintenance process
- Participate in the development of the organizational capability of the maintenance planning department which includes mentoring Angolan employees (expatriates only).
- Interface with Operations and Maintenance Teams to determine job priorities and resource allocation.
- Preparing a sequence of craft tasks to execute the job and estimating the labour needed by craft for each task.
- Preparing a list of predetermined material needed to complete the job and ordering the material for expeditious delivery.
- Preparing a list of specialized equipment and material needed to complete the job arranging for its availability when the job is expected to be done.
- Ensuring the pre-job briefing, lock-out plan, and job safety analysis are in the job estimate and task sequence plan.
- Verify the craft and materials estimates are in the CMMS work order record.
Requirements
Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.Proven experience in mechanical maintenance planning or a similar role.MS project, Primavera Level Advanced (teach Others)SAP (for expatriates)PM, MM Level Advanced (Super-user, teach others) IT (for expatriates) :MS Office, MS Database Level Advanced (teach Others)Language (for expatriates)English Level Pre-advancedExcellent organizational and communication skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Minimum of 4 year’s maintenance planning / project planning experience in Oil & Gas industryMinimum of 4 year’s electrical, instrument or analyser and metering maintenance activities experience in oil and gas industry.Minimum of 3 year’s SAP PM experience in Oil & Gas industryExperience with planning software such as Primavera and MS projectExcellent verbal and written communication skills.Hands-on craft experience a pre-requisite.Should be a team player, who understands nuances of a virtual, multi-cultural team environment.
