Oketra is building a digital payment solution that allows Angolans to access global services through reloadable USD-based cards.

Now we’re entering a critical phase : ensuring the infrastructure is scalable, secure, and adaptable to the technical and regulatory challenges of the market.

Tasks

  • Develop and execute growth strategies to increase market share and drive revenue for Oketra.
  • Identify new business opportunities and build relationships with potential clients and partners in the technology and internet sectors.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to ensure alignment on sales strategies and product offerings.
  • Lead negotiations and close deals with key clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Analyze industry trends and competitor activities to inform strategic planning and decision-making.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in business development or a similar senior sales role within the technology sector.
  • Strong network and connections within the technology and internet industry.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with a track record of closing deals.
  • Ability to lead and mentor a small team, driving them towards achieving business goals.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities.
