JOB VACANCY : LOGISTICS FLEET MANAGER – ANGOLA

A leading and well-known construction company in Angola is currently seeking a competent and experienced Logistics Fleet Manager to oversee the management, operation, and maintenance of its vehicle and equipment fleet.

Key Responsibilities :

Manage the operation and maintenance of trucks, heavy equipment, and support vehicles.

Monitor and enforce the use of journey management cards and safe routing procedures.

Oversee the diesel station, ensuring efficient fuel distribution and strict controls to prevent loss.

Schedule and coordinate routine and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.

Ensure full compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Supervise drivers and mechanics; manage fleet records and reporting systems.

Optimize logistics and routing to support project execution timelines.

Requirements :

Degree or diploma in Logistics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum 5 years of experience managing a fleet in the construction, mining, or transport sector.

Strong knowledge of truck and equipment maintenance operations.

Experience with diesel management systems, route planning, and safety procedures.

Leadership skills and the ability to manage and train teams.

Proficiency in fleet management software is an advantage.

Good communication skills; Portuguese and English preferred.
