An exciting opportunity has arisen for a here at Senior Crane Operator EnerMech. The Senior Crane Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining mobile cranes in a safe manner in accordance with legislative, corporate and crane manufacturers recommendations.
Requirements
Main Responsibilities :
Safely Operate the site mobile cranes in coordination with base team requirements.Carry out first line maintenance up to and including 6 monthly planned maintenance routines.Ensure crane integrity is maintained to current legislative, corporate, and manufacturer recommendations.Ensure crane availability is attained to client specification.Carry out planned maintenance routines, ensuring spares and resources are planned and organized in a timely manner.All maintenance to be carried out in a safe manner in accordance with the duty holders' safe systems of workReport all incidents and near misses immediately to EnerMech and site management.Completion of Crane Operator Maintainer daily log, trip reports, and entering data into the maintenance management system if requiredUnderstand the management of change process and be able to identify and initiate change management events.Undertake emergency response duties as required.Operate crane within crane design envelope, taking into consideration prevailing weather and ground conditions.Ensure constant, clear, and effective communication with all site crew.Complete pre-use checklists before commencing each shift.Ensure good housekeeping within the crane cabin and machinery.Ensure waste is disposed of in accordance with installation procedures.Ensure a safe and comprehensive shift handover is conducted and recorded.Demonstrate a personal commitment to health, safety, and the environment.Apply EnerMech Group and, where appropriate, client’s health, safety, and environment policies and procedures.Ensure that all quality and operational procedures as identified in EnerMech QA Manuals are adhered to at all times.Maintain and embrace ownership of departmental policies and procedures.Essential :
Capable of passing the mobile crane operator test if offered a position and previous certificate has expiredPreferred :
Knowledge of hydraulic closed and open loop systemsPrevious experience in lifting equipment environmentsA recognized apprenticeship or mechanical qualificationPersonal Qualities :
