Conceptual Studies Engineer

Carrying out all activities related to the development of Conceptual Studies, including Cost Estimates where required, in accordance with the Company’s rules and procedures, ensuring their quality, time and cost efficiency, and aligned with received SoW / BoD.

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities

Forward Planning of Activities :

Assisting the responsible in coordinating all support services necessary for assigned work and studies;

Supporting the responsible in developing Conceptual Studies and relevant engineering documents in accordance with BoDs and Company standards and procedures;

Assisting the responsible in coordinating conceptual studies provided by Third Party Companies.

Implementation of the Project Activities :

Ensuring preparation of engineering documents in accordance with BoD and Company standards and procedures standards and procedures, in line with schedule and quality requirements;

Ensuring technical interface with other professional areas;

Ensuring facilities innovative technology assessment in the development of Conceptual Studies;

Supporting the responsible in ensuring the general quality of Packages to Support Project Development Opportunities;

Able to interpret results from Evaluation, Concept Pair and Other Techniques;

Able to interpret Project Economics and provide conclusions and recommendations;

Able to interpret the key evaluation criteria such has Health, Safety, Environment, Strategic, Field life, deliverability, technical, value and provide conclusions and recommendations.

Internal and External Relations :

Cooperate with the project team members to ensure performing assigned activities in an efficient and effective way, according to the cost and time objectives;

Assisting the responsible for Conceptual Studies Development;

Interfacing with other Departments involved in the development of Conceptual Studies;

Interfacing with Third Parties involved in conceptual Studies;

Drafting of Reports and Reporting :

Drafting technical reports related to his area;

Assisting the responsible in drafting monthly reports of Department activities.

Carrying out his team’s Performance Assessment, according to the practices used in the Company.
