Main Responsibilities :

Operate VHF, MF / HF and satellite radio systems for continuous communication with helicopters, ships, onshore base and rescue teams.

Monitor emergency channels and ensure immediate communication in critical situations.

Co-ordinate helicopter landings and take-offs, including weather updates and flight reports.

Keeping accurate records of all relevant communications and events (logbooks).

Supporting personnel on board (POB) control procedures.

Assist in monitoring security systems, alarms and access control.

Communicating weather and sea conditions, based on data from meteorological stations installed on the unit.

Ensuring that communication equipment is always operational, reporting faults and requesting maintenance when necessary.

Strictly comply with safety protocols, including the emergency response plan (ERP).

Experience : Minimum 5 years offshore experience
