Job Purpose :

The purpose of the Offshore Installation Engineer is to serve as primary Technical interface with the Contractor Vessel Offshore Operation Engineers :

To oversee on-vessel Construction / Technical Supervisors and Inspectors.
To support on-vessel safety, quality, and installation procedure c\w check lists.
To provide technical installation support to CPY Vessel Management Team ensuring CTR executes the scope in full compliance with the installation procedure and risk assessment.

Qualifications :

Demonstrate extensive experience on large deepwater and pipelay installation engineering.

Knowledge and / or Experience :

8 years minimum marine construction experience.

5 years minimum subsea ultra- deepwater offshore installation experience.

Good knowledge and understanding of marine activities involving DP3 Pipelay. Vessel, DP3 Heavy Subsea Construction Vessels DP2 MSVs.

Fluent English

Key Accountabilities :

Offshore Installation procedures – installation / key documents (drawings, Analysis, etc..).

Hard and Soft copies for the above.

Laminated copies of key drawings for posting in the office.

Updated Project Schedule.

Make sure that Contractor Project Engineer check Tooling quantities / fittings / sockets etc. .

Make sure that Contractor Project Engineer crosscheck Procurement Equipment checklist.

Make sure that Contractor Project Engineer confirms that all equipment, rigging and materials have been loaded out, all certification is received, and everything is as expected.
