Senior Project Manager – Drilling

Location : Congo (Client Office) Duration : 12 Month Contract Start Date : ASAP / 1st June

We are currently seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to be based at our client’s site in Congo, working closely with their Asset Development Team. This is a key leadership role responsible for the planning, coordination, and execution of drilling operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver detailed drilling programs in line with project objectives
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and mitigation planning
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and oversee field operations
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety procedures, and client requirements
  • Communicate regularly with client stakeholders and internal teams

What We’re Looking For

  • A strong background in drilling project management, ideally in international or remote locations
  • Minimum 15 years’ experience in oil & gas operations, with progressive leadership responsibility
  • Degree-qualified in Engineering, Geosciences, or a related discipline
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects from planning through to execution
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Able to mobilise quickly – an immediate or near-immediate start is preferred
