The following duties are normal for this position.

Prepares / reconstitutes reagents
Collecting and preparing samples, solutions, cultures and specimens and ensuring safe disposals of waste
Enforcing strict health and safety regulations
Staying up to date with relevant scientific developments that can improve the efficiency of lab operations.

Additional Functions

Delegates to designee during temporary absence; provides guidance, training, and / or assistance to other department personnel.

Personally responsible for protecting paper records, computer records, and other device associated with confidential public health information or data.

Ensures legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable UAE labour laws at all times.

Participates in regular quality audits by ensuring compliance of evidence / documents at all times.
