Job Duties

  • Coordinate and manage single and multiple rig projects under general supervision, ensuring efficient execution and delivery.
  • Support and collaborate with senior project managers on larger, more complex integrated projects while developing project management expertise.
  • Lead projects involving multiple Product Service Lines (PSLs) and selected third-party service providers.
  • Conduct regular performance review meetings and implement management systems to improve operational efficiency and project performance.
  • Lead and actively participate in operational problem-solving activities, including risk mitigation, service quality (SQ) investigations, and corrective action implementation.
  • Plan, organize, and coordinate projects involving three or more PSLs in accordance with company policies, procedures, and operational requirements.
  • Promote and ensure compliance with Halliburton and customer Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards, regulations, and expectations.
  • Verify that all equipment received at the wellsite meets documented specifications and operational requirements.
  • Ensure all third-party rental and purchased equipment has valid inspection, certification, and testing documentation.
  • Lead pre-project planning sessions (Drilling Well on Paper / Completing Well on Paper) and post-project review and closeout meetings.
  • Participate in project safety meetings, business reviews, and operational performance assessments.
  • Monitor and evaluate project performance against established PSL and project KPIs.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed Daily Operations Reports in OpenWells, with emphasis on productive time tracking and Non-Productive Time (NPT) classification.
  • Ensure all personnel work from the latest approved project procedures, standards, and operational guidelines.
  • Assess PSL operational performance and identify opportunities to apply technology solutions that enhance project outcomes.
  • Develop, implement, and manage Project Performance Optimization Plans to drive continuous improvement.
  • Resolve cross-PSL operational and commercial issues with customers before final invoicing and reporting.
  • Capture, document, and communicate lessons learned to district and project leadership teams to support organizational learning.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership, professionalism, discretion, and effective communication while engaging with clients and internal stakeholders at all levels.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships through proactive client engagement and project leadership.
  • Apply technical and operational expertise gained through a STEM-based education and extensive oil and gas industry experience.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM), or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant project, operational, or engineering experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of full-time experience in the oil and gas industry.
  • Strong leadership, project coordination, stakeholder management, and client-facing skills.
