We are looking for a Site HSE Manager / Lead ( Portuguese speaker ) with the following details :

Location : Lunago, Angola

Work Schedule : 12-weeks-on, 2-weeks-off rotation schedule

Duration : ASAP - April 2026

Requirements

Candidates must align with the attached job description
Portuguese speaking candidates ( candidates must have a good understanding of Portuguese; Spanish speakers may also be considered)
Ability to read and understand documentation in English
Available for the full duration of the position
Legal authorization to work in Angola and ability to secure a visa in time.

Qualifications / Experience required

8 years of HSE professional experience in energy industry and construction sector(s) of which 3 years should be on site.

Technical degree or diploma (plus internationally recognized HSE degree / diploma)

Experiences in the power sector will be a plus.

Proven autonomy and ability to manage contacts are required.

Precision and zero compromise / tolerance approach on HSE and technical excellence.

High level of knowledge and understanding of the local HSE regulations applicable in the selected region.

Ability to understand procedures and instructions specific to HSE topics.

Must be able to prepare, review, and audit working procedures.

Must be able to prepare reports on all HSE technical matters.

Must be capable of conducting HSE incident investigations.

Ability to plan, implement, and supervise training in all areas of safe working is essential.

Demonstrated knowledge and experience in developing, implementing, and continuously improving health & safety, and environment management systems requirements.

Good English language oral and written communication skills are essential.

Portuguese language speaking is required.

Team player and able to build and maintain relationships both internal and external.

Proficiency computer skills with MS office and other day-to-day work-related software applications are necessary.
