Our client in Luanda is looking for an Occupational Health and Safety Officer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the HSE Sector and a proven track record in the relevant field.

Responsibilities
- Collaborate in defining the company’s general policy regarding risk prevention, in line with the quality policy.
- Draw up the occupational risk prevention plan, based on the company’s general policy, cost / benefit analysis, specific prevention and protection plans required by law.
- Design, structure and propose preventive and protective measures, observing, in particular, the general principles of prevention, legal provisions and cost / benefit analysis.
- Manage the supply and conservation of personal protective equipment, as well as the installation and maintenance of safety signs.
- Integrate prevention and protection measures into the design and organization of the work process and stations.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or management, with training and experience of at least 6 months in the field of Management and Coordination of Safety and Health at Work in an industrial context.Level 5 qualifying training for a senior technician in Occupational Health and Safety.Notions of labor Legislation, as well regulations and standards on safety, hygiene and health at work.English or French language (interpretation of technical documentation).Soft Skills : Time management ability; Proactive and Sense of responsibility and autonomy; Dynamism and capacity for initiative; Domain of Microsoft Office tools.
