Construction Engineer

Aker Solutions are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented professional to join their team. In this role, you will work closely with the project team, including Aker Solutions and Azule Energy, to develop high-quality project deliverables. Your primary focus will be creating Job Cards and necessary requisitions while providing essential support to the construction, engineering, and supply chain teams.

Main Responsibilities

• Development of job cards in line with construction requirements, commissioning strategy and offshore execution plans
• Support the resolution of Site Queries for responsible scope including all necessary work to ensure
• Queries can be closed, i.e. revisions or new creation of job cards, requisitions, etc
• Responsible for raising requisitions where required to support work preparation process
• Ownership of 12 week gate reviews for their scopes — populating WRA trackers, ensuring all criteria are met.
• For Cat C scope, running of applicable CAT C gate review meetings.
• Responsible for ensuring 6 week gate compliance of all scopes planned offshore is achieved — Job cards issued and materials available — In support of Construction Focal Point ownership of 6 week gate review
• Complete constructability reviews for applicable scopes Support in Creation of Permits and L2RA where required
• Complete Offshore Construction surveys as required
• Travel offshore as appropriate in the pursuit of project delivery

Experience

• Relevant demonstrable experience within a similar environment / industry.
• Upstream knowledge of oil & gas projects.
• Demonstrable management, leadership and technical experience within construction environment
• Significant turnkey EPC projects.
• HUC Projects
• Large brownfield modifications.
• Minor brownfield modifications and term contracts. Front End Studies
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
• Good presentation and communication skills
