Are you an experienced Solids Control Engineer ready to take on challenging offshore projects with a global leader in oilfield services? At NOV, we are seeking a Senior Solids Control Engineer to join our dynamic offshore team and provide technical expertise, hands-on maintenance, and operational excellence across solids control equipment.
What You’ll Do
- Work offshore as part of a team, delivering servicing, maintenance, and operational support for NOV Solids Control and iNOVaTHERM equipment.
- Troubleshoot and maintain equipment including centrifuges, cuttings dryers, shale shakers, agitators, VAC units, gumbo boxes, degassers, and clean-up systems.
- Conduct rig surveys, supervise equipment installation, and provide expert client advice based on mud reports and performance monitoring.
- Ensure safety and environmental compliance, actively participating in risk assessments, safety programs, and client HSE initiatives.
- Prepare operational reports, including weekly updates, end-of-well reports, and equipment performance records.
- Mentor and support less-experienced engineers within the team.
Safety & Quality Focus
Actively uphold NOV’s strong HSE culture at all times.Maintain equipment to QA / QC standards, ensuring repairs, servicing, and documentation meet company and client requirements.Monitor spare parts, plan preventive maintenance, and manage offshore inventory.What We’re Looking For
Minimum 8–10 years of experience in solids control, drilling fluids, or waste management operations.Strong technical knowledge of solids control equipment, drilling fluids systems, and waste management processes.Proven leadership experience supervising field teams in offshore or onshore drilling environments .Strong understanding of HSE standards, ISO requirements, and industry best practices.Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and communication Mechanical and Electrician backgroung is a must)Ability to work in demanding operational environments with extended field rotations when required.Why Join NOV?
