Role : Section Engineer

A Section Engineer has final responsibility for a specific area of a large engineering or construction project, supervising site engineers and coordinating teams to ensure work is completed on schedule, within budget, and to safety / quality standards. Manage technical documentation, interpret drawings, and oversee daily operations, including material take-offs and subcontractor management.

Key Requirements :

• Site Management : Overseeing all technical aspects of a defined project section (e.g., earthworks, drainage, structures).
• Supervision : Leading and mentoring site engineers and subcontractors to ensure adherence to RAMS (Risk Assessments and Method Statements).
• Engineering Control : Ensuring accurate setting out and checking of works.
• Health & Safety : Maintaining strict site safety compliance and conducting briefings.
• Planning & Reporting : Monitoring project progress, producing reports, and managing material resources.
• Technical Coordination : Interpreting drawings, specifications, and ensuring buildability.
