Recovery Technician

Recovery Technician - Angola- Expat

Must have XRT, BV, Flowsort machine experience.

Knowledge of diamond plants and DMS and Recovery circuits.

Location : Angola- Expat

Role : Recovery Technician (XRT / BV / Flowsort)

Experience and role profile :

• Conduct routine inspections and fault finding on components in XRT and BV machines.
• Responsible for Radiation Equipment as per Legal appointment in area of responsibility if applicable.
• Conduct planned maintenance and repairs.
• Repair / overhaul components.
• Conduct applicable spares inventory weekly and report.
• Report safety incidents / accidents.
• Do pre and post assessments of equipment sent for repairs.
• Provide technical assistance and direction to other functional groups in order to drive quality improvements and enhance the maintenance function.
• Develop the critical spares and sub assembly register for all equipment on the operations.
• Analysing the blueprints for x-ray systems to determine the specifications of the components to be maintained / replaced.
• Develop the critical spares and sub assembly register for all equipment on the operations.
• Report writing (log sheets, availabilities, utilisation, daily and monthly reports)
• XRT tracer tests.
• Comply with safety, health, security and environmental standards.
