We are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Systems Completion Engineer to be placed in Angola and would be on an initial 4-month contract with the possibility of extension.

Responsibilities

Provide detail Scope of Work & identify resources required.

Deliver the strategies, plans and procedures required by companies Systems Completion specifications and ensure Systems Completion process is compliant with company requirement.

Review, check and request modification of Systems Completion Database throughout project phases and produce reports as deemed necessary by contractor and company.

Follow up the maintenance & updates of System Completion Turnover & Completion Packages (A & B Check sheets, preservation check sheets, Punchlist Management, various completion certificates etc) ensuring the dossier is up to date w.r.t project actual progress.

The TCP should be paperless and so integrated within SCD Interface & report to contractor Systems Completion Lead throughout Systems Completion phases to help integrate CONTRACTOR Systems Completion team.

Support the planning and execution of the Systems Completion scope.

Help manage the transfer of Care, Custody and Control of facilities from construction to commissioning and commissioning through Start-Up to operations.

Schedule, coordinate and participate in equipment preservation & follow up preservation tasks completion & check sheet close out.

Schedule, coordinate and participate with vendor FSR management

Skills / Qualifications

Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in mechanical engineering within the oil and gas industry.

Offshore Experience

Experience with Rotating Equipment

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. A Master’s degree or higher can be an advantage.

Proven experience in systems completion, commissioning, and startup of mechanical systems in oil and gas projects.

International project experience is highly desirable.

Strong commitment to HSE principles and practices.

Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, especially related to oil and gas industry.

Proficiency in using engineering software and tools such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and other relevant CAD programs.
