Welcome to Bosch! This position will be based in Angola, address : Condominio Dolce Vita, Torre 1C, 8 andar, Luanda. Only Applications written in English will be considered. Job Description Bosch is looking to employ a Local Warehouse Manager and Foreign Trade Specialist as part of their team! Responsible for managing the Bosch logistics activities in Angola. Focus on warehousing, distribution & foreign trade. Warehouse & Distribution Responsibility for the fluent operation of all warehouse & distribution processes Definition and control of the material flows and measures to secure quality assurance Define and create warehouse strategies (storage, replenishment, picking) Introduction of BPS (Bosch Production System) measurements in the warehouse Performing stocktaking and cycle counts with warehouse provider Report and analysis of key performance indicators and optimization of those Be the logistics interface between Bosch divisions, their customer and logistics providers Logistics cost responsibility (incl. business planning) and invoice verification for logistics services Support project with central departments (warehouse & distribution tenders) Import Enable customs and foreign trade operations in Angola and ensure smooth customs clearance and avoid supply chain interruptions Ensure compliance with relevant legislation as well as application and full alignment with the Bosch Central Directive "Customs CD3400” Develop and maintain cost efficient foreign trade processes (e.g. implementation of special customs procedures and authorization; secure the fulfilment of associated obligations) Coordinate requests from Customs Authorities, attend and assist in customs audits (internal & external) Implement and maintain AEO program requirements at Robert BOSCH Angola Local broker selection, tender evaluation Support central purchasing in Africa (regional) Air freight & Sea freight tender preparation, evaluation, and selection Coordinate import and export operations for the BOSCH business units Regional broker management and ensure KPI evaluation and reporting Customs valuations as per relevant customs law & regulations Liaise with BOSCH Tax & Governance teams to ensure regional foreign trade compliance Archiving of all Foreign Trade documentation Qualifications Education Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or similar Experience Practical experience in warehousing, transportation and / or customs Skills Profound knowledge of distribution logistics, supply chain management and foreign trade Entrepreneurial and customer-oriented mind-set Strong communication skills Assertiveness Strong IT-Skills (e.g. SAP, WMS Systems, MS Office) Analytical thinking Autonomous working Responsible, reliable, and self-motivated Fluent in Portuguese and English language is a must Additional Information By choice, we are committed to a diverse workforce.
