FLOW ASSURANCE ENGINEER

To provide specialistic engineering input to the projects activities during the Project Definition phase, as direct performer and / or as monitoring / follow-up of the activities performed by others (i.e. contractors and / or subordinates), and direct execution of Flow Assurance studies / analyses.

To provide troubleshooting engineering activities.

To provide specialistic operational input for the development of Facilities Operating Philosophies and Operating Manuals with due focus to facilities start-up, steady state operations and Shut-Downs (both Controlled and Emergency)

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities

Main Responsabilities :

Technical integrity of Flow Assurance design and operation.

Overall effectiveness and efficiency of Flow Assurance design and operation.

Capturing and dissemination of Flow Assurance engineering and operational knowledge.

Key Activities :

Flow Assurance overall design and operation integrity and compliance with international standards, company guidelines and engineering best practices

Supervising and directing Engineering Contractors during the design, modification, ensuring the quality of the works according to the contract requirements.

Providing technical input, in line with project requirements, into technical studies and Basis of Design for onshore and offshore production and processing facilities.

Defining Flow Assurance requirements.

Defining of interface disciplines requirements, within the discipline sustainability.

Participating in process safety reviews activities.

Participation to technical integrity activities.

Project Development Team(s)

Design contractors.

Joint ventures partners for technical review.

Drafting of Reports and Reporting :

Drafting technical reports related to his area;

Supporting the responsible in drafting monthly reports of activities, where required
