Key Responsibilities :
1) Provide safe working environment, adhering to Health, Safety and Environmental procedures and ensuring they are always understood and practiced by the team.
2) Plan, co-ordinate and monitor the receipt, storage and dispatch of goods.
3) Ensure orders are processed efficiently and that the delivery of materials meets
Right First Time" customers’ timescales / requirements.
4) Supervise and control order picking, goods in, goods out operations to ensure accuracy with minimum handling and stock damage.
5) Organize, facilitate and manage stock takes at regular intervals.
6) Ensure that all relevant procedures and processes are followed and adhered to in line with the Company’s procedures and requirements.
7) Operate visual delivery tracking systems in order that commodity status can be
easily identified.
8) Oversee planned maintenance of machinery and equipment.
9) Monitor and maintain stock accuracy by ensuring the physical stock is in line with the warehouse management system (ACU).
10) Dedicate a clear area for defective and expired products.
11) Issue delivery notes for dispatched goods and maintain accurate records.
12) Manage and control the expiration dates of all lubricants and greases.
13) Developing and implementing health and safety programs, policies, and procedures specific to the warehouse environment.
14) Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement
appropriate control measures to mitigate risks.
15) Investigating incidents, accidents, and near misses, implementing corrective
actions, and maintaining accurate records.
16) Providing health and safety training to employees, ensuring they understand their responsibilities, and communicating safety information effectively.
17) Conducting regular inspections of the warehouse facility, equipment, and
processes to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance.

Aptidões necessárias
Qualifications :
1) Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a
related field.
2) 3 – 5 years’ experience in warehouse supervisory or leadership operations or
logistics.
3) Certified Warehouse Management Professional (CWMP) is a must.
4) Proof awareness of ISO Certifications (e.g., ISO 45001, ISO 14001) : related to
health and safety and environmental management, respectively.
Skills and Competencies :
1) Motivate and direct the team with strong communication and leadership skills.
2) Identify and resolve issues such as inventory discrepancies or shipping delays.
3) Effective time management skills ensuring tasks completion timely.
4) Proficiency in managing inventory levels, tracking stock, and ensuring that items are properly stored and labeled.
5) Good understanding of logistics principles, including shipping, receiving, and
distribution processes.
6) Analyze data related to warehouse performance, such as inventory levels, shipping times, and employee productivity.
7) Proficiency in using warehouse management software ACU, computer systems, and another relevant technologies / MS Office suite.
8) Strong understanding of warehouse HSE safety procedures and the ability to
implement safety standards.
9) Familiarity with warehouse and distribution operations : To understand the specific hazards and risks associated with warehouse activities.
10) Fluency in Portuguese and English will be highly advantageous.
